Plexus Slim/Accelerator Review

When my friend Liz asked me to do a review on her new Plexus Slim product, I knew I just had to jump on it.   Plexus, a weight loss supplement, in which you take a pill half an hour before a meal — it does not matter which meal, it can be breakfast, lunch or dinner — and pour the Plexus Slim powder into a 12 ounce glass/bottle of water, stir/shake and drink. That's all there is to it!  It does not contain MSG or other proven red-flag ingredients.  I took Plexus Slim once a day, however, people who struggle with weight loss or people who have a lot of weight to lose, may find that taking Plexus Slim twice a day works better for them.  My appetite is down and I have found that I am not snacking as often.
In total I lost 10 pounds.  I chose Mondays as my weigh in day.  My first week weigh in was a loss of 3 lbs.  Within the first week I could already tell that my clothes were fitting loosely.  I must add that although my intentions were to walk 3-5 miles on the treadmill a day, life got in the way and this was not possible.  I did watch what I was eating and of course drinking lots of water was key.  But I am not gonna lie when I tell you I splurged on Wendy’s for dinner one night.
My second weeks weigh in was exciting….  I lost another 3 pounds.  Holy crap!!  This is really working!!!!  Hmmm, maybe I should splurge on Wendy’s more often, joking!  Haha!
Liz’ website information is http://newmombody.myplexusproducts.com/ she has a FB page too…  https://www.facebook.com/NewMomBody
She has started to help a friend who is set up to sell this product as well.  Jenna Ferguson and she is the Pretty in Pink Drink Lady http://jennaferguson.myplexusopportunity.com/ her facebook page is https://www.facebook.com/messages/#!/pages/Look-Pretty-In-Pink-with-Plexus-Slim/516055318475949
I took both the Plexus Slim and Accelerator+ set.  Taken together, as I have read will positively impact and change your life. In addition to losing weight, you will experience more energy and better health. Take control and make a dramatic change in your life today.

My third week results were not as big.  I only lost 1 pound.  I knew that the honeymoon period would end but a loss is a loss.  Plus it really didn’t help that mother nature had paid me a visit.  Water retention was a big effect.
I didn’t let the week’s minimal loss discourage me.  I went into the next one full force.  And I am glad I did.  I lost another 3 pounds at my 4th week weigh in.
At the end of my supply, I am fitting into a size 8 banana republic jeans.  YAY Me!
My energy level is amazing and confidence has returned.

This week's Pimp-Out/Showcase belongs to Tammy from Cricutmouse's Craftynook.

Hey there!  I’m Tammy from Cricutmouse's Craftynook.  I was thrilled to have been asked to do another showcase of my blog by Deezy from Deezy Does It blog.  I gained many followers from the first time thru back in February (I believe).

I used a file from My Scrapchick seeing as she has been so generous to sponsor the showcase this week.

The file is Card Essentials Vol 2 and they can be found here:
Card Essentials Vol. 2

I made the card for my cousin and his wife to be.  Their wedding will be on
October 11/13. I gave them some homemade items for their shower and they were
a big hit. I hope the gift and card are going to be as well.

The poem for the inside I just googled and really liked it.  It is fitting for
this couple
Thanks for stopping by.  Please be sure to stop by my facebook page also.

This week's Pimp-Out/Showcase belongs to Dory from The Doyle Dispatch.

Hello bloggers! I am so thrilled to be featured for this week's Pimp-Out Showcase! It's been great to find many new blogs this way, so I hope you will enjoy finding a little about me and my blog! My name is Dory, and I am behind The Doyle Dispatch.

My husband and I have recently celebrated our 4th wedding anniversary (and 10th dating anniversary), and we are about to welcome our first babies (twins!) into the world this winter. I started the blog as a way to document our married life together, and what a wonderful journey it has been so far! We started as high school sweethearts, going to senior prom together. We then endured one year of a long-distance relationship while we were in different colleges before I transferred to Virginia Tech. Go Hokies! Throughout it all, we stayed together through good times and bad. We have faced our share of challenges from family deaths to illnesses and tragedies, but our relationship has grown stronger because of it.

I first became a blogger in January 2009, when I started a blog to document my DIY wedding (the blog is http://bridesaver.wordpress.com/ if you are curious), and I loved it! My wedding goal was to get my dream wedding on a budget, and I was able to achieve it! My parents gave me a set amount for our wedding, and I was responsible for managing every penny into making it my dream day. With the Bridesaver blog as a guide, I found success with my tutorials and themed posts, and I loved the freedom that being a blog writer could give. Of course, blogging was just my hobby, as I was also studying for my master's degree to be an elementary school teacher. (By the way, I did have my dream country club wedding on a budget that was less than a typical non-country club wedding for the area. I had a top-notch photographer, dream bride and groom's cake, the Hokie Bird as a guest, and a world-traveled band that has played for Presidents… all on a budget, thanks to DIYing.)

I started teaching in 2009 after getting married, and I left my wedding blog and started Doyle Dispatch. As I continued with my teaching career, I continued blogging, documenting the events of a newly-married 20-something couple. In the summers, I would focus on my DIY projects, and the blog developed. Tim has even written some posts about our goals and successes with getting out of debt and living like no one else. (Thank you Dave Ramsey!) A little DIY, a little documenting, and lots of describing… we can be wordy. With my current pregnancy with twins, I am taking a year off of teaching to focus on bringing my healthy babies into the world. My blog still has the focus on our lives, but I am also taking advantage of my platform to help other Mothers (to be) of Multiples in navigating the differences between our pregnancies and those of singleton moms.

Along with documenting our life, our travels, our financial goals (and staying debt-free), and my twin pregnancy, the blog has also turned into a great place for me to document all of my DIY projects (along with many tutorials). I'm not picky with my projects, as I love them all! I recently started selling some of my personalized work, and that has become a fun side business for me (www.personallyyoursbydory.com).

So come on over to our little space on the web! We will hopefully keep you entertained with some easy reading and interesting content! I can't wait to meet some of you!

This week's Pimp-Out/Showcase belongs to Jenn from My Daily Jenn-ism.

Hey there!  I’m Jenn from My Daily Jenn-ism.
Before I even go any further, I’d like to thank my girl, Deezy, for giving me the opportunity to be pimped out on her page.
Thank you, Deezy!  Love you!
I’ve been blogging for two years.  As a matter of fact, this past July 26th was my blog-iversary.  Deezy was one of the first few bloggers to befriend me in the blogging world and bring me into her part of this wonderful little blogging community.
I’m a married mom of 3.  My husband and I have been married for 12 years.  I’m proud to say he is the love of my life. We are on round two of “short ones.”
I’m a proud military momma of a 20 year old son, who serves in the US Navy.  Our daughter will be 11 in a few weeks and our beautiful foster daughter will be 7 the day after our daughter.
I initially started blogging to exercise my creativity while writing my book.  It instead became an outlet where I can help people with the good, the bad and the ugly that life throws at you.
I’ve got a little bit of everything in my blog from what it’s like to be a foster parent, to living with lupus, to being a survivor of suicide x2, to parenting, to just life “stuff” or total goofiness.
Don’t be scared… It only sounds dark and brooding.  Truth is I’m a total goofball who will always seek out the silver lining and just laugh at life.
I’ve been through a lot, but I’ve learned that God really does give you things for a reason – and every crappy moment can be used for good to help another.  That has been something that I try to do as often as possible.
…um, make lemonade??
Life is short – so it’s all about finding the good in every second.  There’s always something good.
Please feel free to come and visit me both on my blog page:  My Daily Jenn-ism
And on my Facebook page:  Jenn’sBlogspot - My Daily Jenn-ism

This week's Pimp-Out/Showcase belongs to Dorothy from Scrap Happy in Ohio.
Hello fellow bloggers! I am so excited and thankful that Deezy is showcasing my blog. My name is Dorothy, and I am Scrap Happy in Ohio. I am a wife and mother. My husband and I have been married for 8 years this October. He brought a beautiful daughter into the marriage who is now 14. Our son will be 5 in November, and we just had our daughter in May.
I started crafting as a child when my Grandma taught me how to sew. From there, I moved on to cross-stitching, crocheting, and found my love of paper-crafting in high school. I started with scrapbooking, but have since found card- and décor-making.
A few months ago I decided to try my hand at blogging, and so Scrap Happy in Ohio was born. Mostly, I blog about the projects I create, some of the photography that I take, but I also about my life in general.
Today on my blog, I am explaining the door hangers I made for our kids' doors. Here is a sneak peak. I hope you enjoy reading about my family and projects.

This week's Pimp-Out/Showcase belongs to Lucy from A Peek Into My Paradise.

Hello blogging friends! I am so excited to be the spotlight this week for the Pimp-Out Showcase! My name is Cathy and I am the owner and author of A Peek Into My Paradise. My husband and I are high school sweethearts and just celebrated our 29th wedding anniversary. We are recent empty nesters rediscovering adulthood after 27 years of being a family of four.
I am always doing something, I just don't know how to sit still; even when watching TV or a movie, I have to be doing something! I have always had a passion for crafts. For years I loved to sew; even making clothes for my children when they were elementary age, until it was no longer cool to wear clothes mom made. Then I dove deep into cross stitch. When I was diagnosed with carpal tunnel in 2001 and hand intensive crafts were impossible and I was on disability for years, I became really involved in scrapbooking. The craft was all the rage. You could say "everyone was doing it!" Scrapbook stores were everywhere. I have been a shutterbug since I could hold a camera so scrapbooking was the perfect blend of pictures meets crafts. I have completed over (20) 12 x 12 albums.  I have slowly converted to digital scrapbooking the past few years and love My Memories Software.

I have two grown children, Kimberley and Bobby. Kimberley got engaged in the summer of 2010; with the wedding in July of 2011. With finances being what they were, a long guest list and my one and only daughter having visions of her dream wedding; mom took on a new role, hands on wedding planner/maker. Now, I have been in charge of week long Girl Scout Camps with over 400 girls attending. I was a Girl Scout Troop Leader for over 10 years. However, there is no other event that tops planning and hand making your daughters wedding. From table centerpieces complete with live goldfish, hand painting a personalized runner, all the bouquets and flowers, a set of guest books with a question on each to a huge cinnamon roll in place of a wedding cake. My daughter loves all things bread and cinnamon; she wanted a cinnamon roll as her wedding cake, so mom made it. For a year, I ate, slept and lived, making and preparing for the big day. Over the next few months I will be sharing our daughters handmade wedding.
For years friends and family would ask me, "How did you make that?", "YOU made that, how?", "Oh my, I want the recipe!". You could say Kimberley's wedding was the question that broke the crafters back. Where could I share my ideas, recipes, my pictures and passion for photography, the crafts I made with my friends and family? On a blog!

My first post was live in September of 2012 and what began as a simple vehicle to share has grown into a passion! There has been a new post at A Peek Into My Paradise every day since. As I approach my one year blogaversary, reflecting back, I smile, thinking of the ladies in the blogging community who have become new friends! Yes, I love sharing my recipes, crafts I have made, tips of life such as DIY, organizing, honestly whatever moves me. I invite you to visit A Peek Into My Paradise and if you like what you see I would love for you to be a friendly stalker! Leave me a comment if your a new follower - we bloggers love comments - if you are a blogger I will visit you too!

You can stalk me your favorite way ;=) or two...
